This page is dedicated to expressing our heartfelt gratitude to the New Mexico legislators who welcomed our PCA CTSO student leaders to the Roundhouse on January 24, 2025.
Through this visit, students gained valuable insight into the legislative process and the impact they can have on their communities. Below, you'll find a thank-you letter from one of our students, highlighting their appreciation for this incredible opportunity.

"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Senator Ramos, Representative Terrazas, and the Lieutenant Governor’s office for taking the time to welcome and inspire our students. Opportunities like this help shape the future of our young leaders, and we deeply appreciate their support."
-Gail Humphrey, CTE Coordinator, Pecos Cyber Academy
I would like to take the time and thank you for having us at the roundhouse to explore and get to learn more about the legislative branch!
It was a great experience and opened my mind to make me realize how much opportunity and influence teens of New Mexico have!
I am grateful that you all had us and hope to have this opportunity open next year!
Yours truly-
Logan Phillips
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Senator Gabriel Ramos, Representative Luis Terrazas, Lieutenant Governor Howie Morales and his staff for welcoming our PCA CTSO student leaders to the Roundhouse. This visit was an incredible opportunity for our students to see firsthand how our state government operates and to feel the impact they can have as future leaders.
Senator Ramos and Representative Terrazas graciously took time out of their morning to personally guide our students through the Roundhouse, sharing insights and experiences that brought the legislative process to life. Their willingness to engage with our students made a lasting impression, showing them how accessible and influential civic leadership can be.
At the Lieutenant Governor’s office, students were warmly greeted by his staff, who shared valuable information and thoughtful keepsakes. While the Lieutenant Governor was unavailable due to the Senate not being in session, our students still felt welcomed and appreciated, gaining a deeper understanding of the vital work being done at the state level.
To make the experience even more interactive, students later participated in a Roundhouse scavenger hunt, exploring the building in a fun and engaging way.
This opportunity was made even more special by the incredible student leaders who represented our school with curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm:
I could not be more proud of these students for their eagerness to learn and their desire to express their appreciation for this experience. Their gratitude reflects the kind of leaders they are becoming, and I hope this visit inspires them to stay engaged in shaping the future of New Mexico.
Thank you again to our state leaders for making this visit so meaningful—we deeply appreciate your time, kindness, and dedication to education!
-Gail Humphrey, CTE Coordinator, Pecos Cyber Academy
I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for all the hard work and dedication you put into making our community a better place. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do.
Additionally, I would like to send a special THANK YOU to Lieutenant Governor, Senator Gabriel Ramos, and Representative Luis Terrazas. Your commitment and service to our state are invaluable, and we are grateful for your leadership and support.
Thank you all for your continued efforts and dedication. And for having me I had a blast and learned so much from this experience!
Sincerely,
Alyssa Rosenbarker
